Information for Presenters

Full Paper Presentation
25 minutes will be allocated for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion. Please keep the presentation within the time limit set.

Short Paper Presentation
15 minutes will be allocated for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion. Please keep the presentation within the time limit set.

Extended Summary Presentation
10 minutes will be allocated for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion. Please keep the presentation within the time limit set.

Reminders

  • Please check in with your Session Chair before the session in which your presentation begins.
  • Data Projectors (HD) with HDMI and VGA input are provided in each session room. A standard Windows 10 laptop with MS Office will be set and connected to the data projector. You may copy your presentation file (MS Powerpoint or PDF) to this laptop. You may also bring your own computer.
  • Please set up and test your presentation in the designated room prior to your session.
  • If there is a cancellation of a presentation, please do not start earlier. You must wait until the scheduled time.

Presentations for the Doctoral Student Consortium

In the individual concurrent sessions, each doctoral student will be allocated 15 minutes for the presentation, followed up by 10 minutes for feedback from the mentors during the concurrent sessions. Please prepare your presentation accordingly. Do focus on issue for which you would like feedback.

After the detailed individual sessions, each student will present a 2-minute elevator pitch. It would be helpful for you to prepare the elevator pitch beforehand. Suggested resources to prepare the elevator pitch include:
